Hi Alf.
Your feedback is most helpful (and exactly what I was looking for),
as I do not have access to multiple bluetooth adapters.
Thanks for running that experiment for me.

I happen to have a few Bluetooth dongles lying around, so i plugged
on into my 12" PowerBook with integrated Bluetooth 1.1 and found this
in my system.log:
Jul 27 20:38:58 caracal kernel[0]: Failing to load driver for new
Bluetooth device: there is already a Bluetooth device in use on the
system.
That message, and a quick glance over the IOBluetoothLocal API make
it pretty clear that only one BT Radio at a time is supported. A
quick look at the javax.bluetooth package suggests that this is
typical of bluetooth stacks, only a single local device is supported
in the LocalDevice class therein.
Best,
Alf
