Hi,
I was experimenting with the IOBluetooth framework and I wanted to
know if the framework has some sort of autodiscovery built in. I know
there is the IOBluetoothDeviceInquiry class, but when I start the
inquiry, only the start delegate method is called, and no device is
found. Even though my USB Bluetooth adaptor is connected.
So, I would think that I may need an NSTimer that constatly checks
all the paired devices and checks if one of them or all are online.
This doesn't sound like it's the way to do it, so I'm wondering if
there's a better way?
What I want to do is check which bluetooth devices are online and if
they are not, automatically get some sort of notification that they
are connected.
Thanks in advance
