How do you use a sheet with IOBluetoothPairingController?

| How can you get IOBluetoothPairingController to present its UI in a sheet rather than a panel?
I tried sending it a beginSheetModalForWindow:modalDelegate:didEndSelector:contextInfo: message ( not documented ) and sure enough it opens as a sheet... but the Pairing button doesn't do anything. Anyone have any insight into this? Is there a reason its not documented? More to the point, is there a reason Apple doesn't *want us* to open it in a sheet?
