IOBluetoothDevicePerformSDPQuery

Bluetoothers,

The apple api for doing SDP Query is IOBluetoothDevicePerformSDPQuery (). Our product runs on a large variety of platforms, and on all those APIs we are able to do a query which is limited to a particular UUID, which reduces the number of SDP sends and receives by a factor of about 10.

The documentation for IOBluetoothDevicePerformSDPQuery() says: "...At that point, a Service Search Attribute request will be issued with a UUID of 0x0100 (L2CAP) and an attribute range of 0x0000 - 0xffff specified. This will cause the SDP server to return all attributes of all L2CAP-derived services on the device."

Is there any way, or are there any plans for having an api which allows specifying a particular UUID as part of the SDP query?
