I used open function to open bluetooth port on MacOS 10.5.1. (configured bluetooth port as RS-232)
My code is as below
   
Try again with 10.5.2!
Mac OS X version 10.5 and 10.5.1 had a serious bug regarding opening a bluetooth channel once again.
