Hi Apple Bluetooth Development Team,
We are planning to develop a MFi accessory using
Bluetooth Low Energy module. The module itself has transmit output power
of +4dbm. We would like to know how much transmit output power for
the Bluetooth 4.0 module under the Bluetooth Low Energy mode in the existing
iPhone 4S, so that we can have an idea the distance range that our accessory can
communicate with iPhone 4S using Bluetooth Low Energy.
Furthermore, if the iPhone 4S can connect to the
user's Bluetooth 2.1 headphone and also to our Bluetooth Low Energy accessory,
how can the user select to connect to which one? Can an iPhone App
automatically choose the Bluetooth Low Energy accessory if it already has the
Bluetooth ID of the accessory inside the App?
