Hi Patrick,
We have run simulations and found a number of advertising intervals which should work well with the iPhone, see Apple Bluetooth Guidelines. However, these numbers will only go up to 2 seconds or so. We could see if we can run some sims up to 10 seconds if that is what you are interested in.
Also, will the App be in the foreground or background when you are searching for this broadcaster? We boost the scanning performance when the App is in the foreground.
