Hi,
we are developing an application (for iPad2) that connects to
a custom build MFI device using the EAAccessory Framework via Bluetooth.
Small packets seem to work flawlessly but we are
experiencing problems when sending packets bigger than ~1kB.
Reading the docs we saw several hints regarding packet size,
encouraging the usage of 600-1000 byte packets.
Sadly our device has to send a fairly big initial header (~2kB)
which consequently gets dropped.
Are there any technical restrictions regarding packet size
on the MFI crypto chips? Or is there a way to set the MTU
on the software side?
Best regards,
Peter Sine
