MFI and BLE

Hi there,

I know that a BLE accessory developer does not need to apply for an MFI membership, but I had a question regarding this: does being part of the MFI give the developer special permissions to the app? By that I mean things like being able to place a call, accessing the Message database (SMS + iMessage), the email inbox and similar information.
