  • Thread-topic: background thread delay

Hi All,

I recently updated from iOS 5 t o iOS 6 on my devices and I also updated to the most recent version of Xcode. Upon doing this update I have run into an issue where my background operations now seem to be delayed randomly. I am scanning for multiple BLE devices in the background and I only get callbacks on a completely random scale. Sometimes its on the order of 5 minutes and sometimes 20.  It seems as though the thread is being delayed, because I will get all the callbacks at once, and then see another huge delay. Has anyone else seen these delays, or does anyone have some direction?

Regards,

Nick
