Can an iPhone4S running iOS6 and acting as a peripheral include the Tx
Power Level in its BLE advertisement?
It seems to me that the WWDC 2012 Session 705 implies that it can, but I
can't figure out how. It is not included by default, and the
documentation of CBPeripheralManager states that the only supported
advertisement data types I can pass to startAdvertising are
CBAdvertisementDataLocalNameKey and CBAdvertisementDataServiceUUIDsKey.
I tried to set a (dummy) value for CBAdvertisementDataTxPowerLevelKey
but it was ignored. And even if I could set a value for this key, I
don't know where to get the actual value from.
Is this not possible when the peripheral is an iOS device?
Thanks,
Zsombor
