Hi Jelari,
I'd recommend that you take a look at the WWDC 2012 presentations on CoreBluetooth. There are two, one introduction and one advanced. The advanced one covers your questions.
Thanks, Joakim
Hi Joakim,
Thanks for the reply, Let me put the question differently.
1) scanForPeripheralsWithServices is it a blocking call ? 2) When it times out ?, in case if we don't send stopScan. Or it just keeps on scanning the devices periodically and invokes didDiscoverPeripheral? If i understand correctly, 'scan interval' means the interval between the two scanning process.
Use Case: Application started scanning process, but the device is not ready for advertising, and the application goes into background mode, after some time the device advertises. Sometimes my application finds the devices, sometime not. So, i am not sure what affects when it is unsuccessful of finding devices.
Kindly correct if i understood wrongly?
Thanks, Jelari.

What do you need it for?
Thanks, Joakim
Hi,
I am using scanForPeripheralsWithServices API, to scan devices with specific service id given as a parameter. What i would like to know is how to get the values of both scan Window, and scan interval in the iOS application? Is it possible first of all ?
