I am interested to know what the proper way of "forgetting this device" within my iOS app?
We have a Bluetooth 4.0 peripheral that we have developed which uses our own services and characteristic. We handle have a way to "forget the device" inside the app, however, when we do so and disconnect from the peripheral, it still shows in iOS 6 settings as "Not Connected".
So my question is, is there a way to Forget a peripheral (as in remove it from iOS altogether) that our app has made a connection with, or is the only way to truly "Forget" a device is by going into iOS settings and removing it that way?
