Depending on what you need, OS X has the PacketLogger app that you can get from developer.apple.com/downloads (search for the Hardware IO Tools). It doesn't work for over the air, but captures the data the mac sends and sees.

Hey guys,

I'm looking to pick up a packet sniffer. I know we all like the TI CC2450, but it doesn't look like it comes with software for OSX, and I'd rather not have two computers open to debug a single application. Is there an equivalent package for OSX?

Cheers,
Gareth
