Can't remember if I've mentioned this one before, but there's also Ubertooth (http://ubertooth.sourceforge.net) which sniffs both classic and LE flavors of Bluetooth. It's an open-source project but you can buy a manufactured one for ~$100.

It relies on Kismet to monitor the actual traffic. I've only gotten it to work under Linux and VMWare so far but it provides a lot of raw data.
The TI one is a lot simpler and more visual if only working on BTLE.
