Robert, thanks for your process, unfortunately it didn’t work for
me.
My Mac doesn’t appear to behave as Apple describe in TN2295.
Returning bluetoothHostControllerSwitchBehavior
back
to default
I would have expected the OS X to grab the external Dongle, however
this isn’t happening, I still see the BroadCom device as selected device.
However the Mac is aware of the external CSR Dongle as I can see it in
the list of USB devices:
USB 3.0
Hi-Speed Bus:
Host Controller
Location: Built-in USB
Host Controller
Driver: AppleUSBXHCI
PCI Device ID: 0x1e31
PCI Revision ID: 0x0004
PCI Vendor ID: 0x8086
Bus Number: 0x14
CSR8510
A10:
Product ID: 0x100b
Vendor ID: 0x0a12 (Cambridge Silicon Radio
Ltd.)
Version: 88.91
Speed: Up to 12 Mb/sec
Location ID: 0x14200000 / 1
Current Available
(mA): 500
Current Required
(mA): 100
So why is the Mac not wanting to attach to the external device, as
documented? What am I missing/not understanding?
This is what I see with bluetoothHostControllerSwitchBehavior
back to default!!
