The GATT layer is the reason for the behavior.

There's no sequence number or anything in the Indication confirmation. Therefore, the stack can't know
to which indication the confirmation belongs if there were sent multiples of them.

Hi Etan,

the question seems to be a little vague in respect to the actual use case. It is clear that one indication at a time is possible for a characteristic. But I've just tried to look up the prohibition in the spec for multiple unrelated characteristics and it is not apparent me that this would not be possible.

Could you give pointers that explain the situation in this case? The CB implementation and its limitations are another question but I'm curious if this is possible at all.

Thanks,
Andras

Simultaneous indications are prohibited by BT Core spec.

Has anyone successfully got multiple indications (simultaneous) working? Is there some spec restriction, perhaps due to the connection interval? I don’t appear able to get more than one working?

Simultaneous notifications seem to work fine.

Thanks, Steve.
