Hi All, i’m a complete newbie to iPhone and Bluetooth connectivity. So sorry for maybe asking such a simple/stupid question ! We do have a little sensor with a Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR module (iPAN1321) that is already working fine with Android. We now have to extend this to work with the iPhone 4/5. If I try to find the sensor from the iPhone (Settings/Bluetooth) the sensor is not showing up there, doesn’t matter how I configure (Secure-Mode 1 or 3) the Bluetooth module. Is this normal behavior ? I can start a BT-RF connection from the Bluetooth module to the iPhone and also start with IDPS then. Is this the normal way to start communication between the iPhone and a Bluetooth device ? Isn’t it possible to do it the other way around, so let the iPhone search for the Bluetooth device within Settings/Bluetooth and then start the BT-RF connection from there ? Your help would be really appreciated ! Thanks in advance, Bernd |
