Doing a scan with LightBlue and looking at the packet log generated by Bluetooth Companion (from Cydia), can see two scan parameter settings:
- scan window 30 ms, scan interval 40 ms
- scan window 30 ms, scan interval 300 ms
I would guess that the 300 ms scan interval is the default (background) scanning and that the 40 ms interval might be used by immediated scannling like scanForPeripheralsWithSeriveAPI.
