In our system, it takes little time to reconnect to a peripheral.

When we set the advertising interval of the peripheral by 211ms,

it takes about 1~20 sec to reconnect.

When we set it by 20ms, it takes about 1~8 sec.

Hello Kim

No you cannot sniff the scanning parameters. Unfortunately, there is also no official way to get access to the packet logs on iOS. (There is a Bluetooth debug profile but I was disappointed after I only got a bit more debug output).

If you have access to an iOS device with a Jailbreak, you can install the Bluetooth Companion package from Cydia. It adds a PacketLogger toggle to the Bluetooth settings and you can then get the log at /tmp/BTServer.pkgl via SSH. Looking at such log, I was quick to get the scan parameter (or would be able to debug other problems as well).

Hi Kim

On my iPhone 5S with 7.0.4, a scan interval of 40 ms with a scan window of 30 ms is used while doing a scan in foreground with the BLExplr app.
