Hi Nick
The iOS devices themselves also have GATT Services, e.g. the ANCS service. I don't know what actually happens, but I could imagine that the iOS device might subscribe to some service on the other device. Does the Bluetooth debug thing (the configuration to enable some Bluetooth logging) indicate anything in this regard?
Best Matthias
Hi,
I’ve got two devices communicating through CoreBluetooth, both acting as a central and peripheral. None of the services and characteristics I’m advertising require pairing, but iOS requests pairing on first connect. Is there any way I can prevent this? Is this a bug? It makes things quite confusing for the user as I’m doing this connection in the background so it’s not something they would be aware of otherwise.
Thanks
