Link key lost when reconnect BLE

  • Subject: Link key lost when reconnect BLE

I have a wearable device (central) that connects to iOS device (peripheral) through BLE. Sometimes, when my device tries to reconnect to iOS device, my device's bluetooth stack warns me about link key loss. The iOS device's log shows the following:

2016-07-20T14:47:34.966 LeSecurityManager.mm:1869 encryptionStatusChangedCb Notice     LE         encryptionStatusChangedCb handle:0x000000012CF01A90 status=BM3 STATUS 706 address=DD:4A:00:C1:92:F0
2016-07-20T14:47:34.989 LeSecurityManager.mm:1492 encryptionStatusChanged Notice     LE         Encryption is now disabled for device "272857FE-E0CE-96BA-AE24-72D4D915D4BA" (DD:4A:00:C1:92:F0)

What does "BM3 STATUS 706" mean is this case? And Why is encryption disabled for my device?
