Hi there
A customer of us is implementing a HFP HF device. On most other OS (iOS,
Android, Windows), HFP WBS works as expected. On macOS, it works on my
MacBookPro Late 2016 but not on a MacBook Air 2013, both with the latest OS
version.
Looking at the packet logs, I cannot see a difference between both setups. Just
before the SCO connection is opened, one Mac picks CVSD (BCS:1), while the
other picks mSBC (BCS:2). The same happens with a Jawbone Jambox Mini
loudspeaker for comparison.
Are there any rules on macOS that would prevent WBS (mSBC) from getting used?
Are there specific hardware requirements? Any other ideas?
Here are the logs from both systems for the Jambone Jambox Mini:

Thanks!
Matthias
