I too wish there were something like this. It would certainly make using Java components with Cocoa programs much easier.

Noted that the ObjC and java API's weren't strictly identical. Couldn't
there be an AWTView, ie an NSView that would display an AWT component
inside of it in the java APIs ? Would be great !
