Since I got no answers, I'm suggesting it again.

Who among you (I mean mainly those with a java experience) would like to see an NSAWTView in the Java-Cocoa API ?

I would !

I hear you saying: "if you want to use AWT, then use Swing, not Cocoa." Yes, but Swing apps under Mac OS X suck, to my opinion. I mean, Aqua is so subtle that the java port, however good it already is, isn't sufficient to achieve a professional feeling.

Anyway, I don't know if such a thing is at all possible, i.e. wether the event models of both toolkits could interact in harmony...
