Gee, I sure stirred up a hornet's nest with my "help" URLs question! All to the good, as I see it. While I still do not understand some aspects of this stuff, I am heartened by the response from Apple folks; if I understand this right, they are trying to make our life easier, but the mojo still needs some major work. Right now the only "link" seems to be a "copy to the clipboard" icon, which is great if you want to copy the EXACT line of code, but is lame in that it does not allow the traditional select and copy way of doing things--in case you only want part of the line of code. This obviously needs to be fixed. And, if I read between the lines correctly, more spiffy mojo is forthcoming. Have I got this right? The whole "Help Viewer" app is crap, but only because it is meant to be killer, only we haven't had time to get all the cool mojo into it yet?

Speaking of killer mojo, here is a feature I'D LOVE TO SEE: give me a preference to allow the spell checker to IGNORE NS! in words like NSObject and NSArray. And lets all agree that the NS is SILENT. So that we can read about "an NSArray" , and "a NSButton"--instead of the really horrible "an NSButton"!
