NSTask creating "file in use" error

  • Subject: NSTask creating "file in use" error
  • From: Jeff Disher <email@hidden>
  • Date: Tue, 14 Aug 2001 21:38:17 -0700 (PDT)

In my program I need to use NSTasks to call several
command line programs to operate on one file over and
over. I am having a problem with this when I go to
call the second task. The program quits each time
claiming that the file the program is to operate on is
in use (it was just created a moment earlier by the
preceding task).

I have tried using "waitUntilExit" and then even
manually releasing all the objects used (although they
are local scope) but still nothing has changed. I can
find no way of using this file twice.

Any help?
Jeff.
