what it does is delete all the build files, effectively building your
application from scratch.

Pro:
CLEAN build, with no leftover junk from badly built stuff before, or random
errors.

Con:
Builds EVERYTHING again, so takes a bit longer.

I generally ALWAYS do a clean build before i run my app. I don't do cleans
when im debugging code for missing ; and such.
