If I remember correctly, the Java Bridge uses JNI internally, though
members of the Java team would know for sure.

I wouldn't worry too much about "creating chaos". Individually, C,
ObjC and
C++ give one more than enough rope to hang oneself with. A little more

going to make any difference, and in the right situation it can be a
powerful tool.
Hm.. Just got an idea. Using ObjC++ and the Java Bridge you can avoid
accessing JNI directly when using C++. Pretty cool, that's even an
enhancement for Carbon.
