Bertrand,

I am in the game called NeXTSTEP/OpenStep/YellowBox/Cocoa since 1990, and believe me, I know very well what I'm talking about. Java is language, not a framework. WebObjects is a set of frameworks closely overlapping with the set of frameworks called Cocoa. And even for the not overlapping parts (obviously rendering HTML is a bit different than cutting native apps) there are a lot of similarities in the design, and even in the naming of different methods and classes. BTW, nothing stops you writing native Cocoa apps in Java ... not that I will recommend it to good friends ;-)

This is not what I call being honest. Being honest is talking when you know
