The problem is that in a dynamic run-time system (like ObjC or Smalltalk)
you design somewhat differently than in a static compile-time one (like C++
or Ada). That's what we are trying to elucidate to you and Stuart both.

In other words: yeah, in ObjC you can't do that -- since it would be an
utter nonsense.
