XRay 1.0b6 is out, and can be downloaded from:

Of special interest to developers is the new Type, Creator &
Extension info panel... I must admit I wrote it mostly for my own
use, and to teach myself about how file-application binding works on
Mac OS X. Everybody concerned about the happily-deceased TN2034 might
want to play around with it :-)
I'm also interested in talking to people who'd like to develop
plugins for XRay.
