I sent a copy of the nib to Henri Lamiraux a few days back. He was able
to open it with the "latest version" of IB. In any case whatever the
problem was it no longer occurs and I have trashed the non-working nib.
As I wrote Henri I had been including a push button along with several
text fields in a group. When I kept the pushbutton out of the group the
problem disappeared. Henri didnt think the grouping should have mattered.
I'll try to recreate the nib that was troublesome and report results
along with a nib if the it becomes unopenable.

Can you send us the nib? We have ways of making them talk.

I'm building a cocoa-document app. I create a gui in the
MyDocument.nib window. I wire things up, write some code and run it.
Everything seems fine.
Then I want to relook at the interface design so I double click on
MyDocument.nib in PB. All that appears is the IB pallete. Asking to
move all windows front from the Windows menu does nothing. There
appears to be no way to view the MyDocument nib.
MyDocument.nib is present in my project directory. Nibtool shows all
the expected interface elements as present in MyDocument.nib. I can
change my code based on the interface I designed and it seems to work
as expected. But I can't see the cursed thing!
This behavior just began a couple of hours ago. I've logged out and
in, and heaven forfend, even restarted. Neither helped. The only
thing I can think of is that this is roughly coincident with the
recent update of the DVD player. FWIW I looked at a couple of
MyDocument nibs from yesterday and they opened up just fine.
I am probably doing something totally neuron deficient. None the less
- help!! My firstborn for the answer.
