Well, let's take a quote from each of your orignal paragraphs (people can
look through the posts to make sure I haven't taken them out of context): -
"That almost surely means that your design is flawed..."
Okay you didn't say it _was_ flawed but then you followed up with...
"A multiple inheritance is a design flaw almost each time it is used"
"The right question would be "how to properly model those situations, which
might (very often incorrectly) lead to multiple inheritance" ;)"
and
"Actually, the vast majority of MI usage in C++ is just a workaround for its
lack of protocols:"
How many times do you think you can make statements like that and not see it
as an attack on C++?
Maybe you weren't attacking C++ or Eduardo's design. If that's the case then
you seriously need to look at how you word your posts because that's
_exactly_ how it came across to me and many others. And, more importantly,
that's how it always comes across when you post a reply to an experienced
C++ programmer. Help them for god's sake. Take a look at Greg Titus's post.
He managed to advise without offending anybody. I realise I went out on a
limb here becasue you are such a prolific poster and clearly have good
knowlege of the subject. Just don't use this forum as a place to attack C++
and we'll all get along just fine.
