Hide Toolbar not toggling to Show Toolbar

Hello,
I've added a toolbar to my application nearly successfully. What's not
working is that the "Hide Toolbar" menu item doesn't toggle to "Show
Toolbar". If I select "Hide Toolbar" (or click the capsule shaped button
on the right side of the window header) the toolbar indeed hides and
shows correctly but the menu item doesn't toggle to "Show Toolbar".
I've checked and rechecked my connection in IB from "Hide Toolbar" menu
item to my Window with toggleToolbarShown selected as the action.
According to NSToolbar.html, NSWindow should handle the text toggle. Any
ideas why the text isn't toggling?
