Hi,
I'm glad to announce the release of GNUMail.app 0.9.0 and
Pantomime 0.8.0.
Here's what's new in GNUMail.app 0.9.0 since the last release:
o Added Henry Spencer's regular expression library to the project ;
o Added Filters support. You can now set a set of filters to perform
the following actions:
- change the color of a message ;
- move the message to a specified folder ;
- delete the message.
Filters also support constraints based on regex. Currently, the
2nd and 3rd actions are done only when fetching messages from a
POP3 server. Future releases will add support from the mail spool file
and from IMAP folders. The coloring action works for everything ;
o Added regex support in the Find panel. You can now search in your
messages by specifying a regular expression as a find constraint ;
o You can now specify a line-length limit in the Quoting section of the
preferences panel for text/plain parts when your messages are sent ;
o Added new NIBs for the MacOS-X port ;
o Refactored some classes, fixed memory leaks, bugs and optimized
the overall application.
You can get it here:

New screenshots are available on the website.
Here's what's new in Pantomime 0.8.0 since the last release:
o Fixed a bug in the way it was choosing a charset when
sending a message that was qp-encoded ;
o Better mime/multipart support. It now works better with
malformed messages ;
o Now supports message/rfc822 as the primary Content-Type
of a message ;
o Implemented soft-line folding support for qp-encoded messages
(when sending the messages) ;
o Implemented line wrapping support for text/plain body parts ;
o Refactored some classes, fixed memory leaks, bugs and optimized
the overall library.
You can get it here:

You also need to use the CVS version of GNUstep in order
to use GNUMail.app. You can get it by following those
instructions:
http://www.gnustep.net/Documentation/BuildGuide/develop.html
I tested everything with a CVS version of GNUstep (13/12/2001),
and everything works very well. The MacOS-X port has been
tested on OS-X 10.1.1 and it works well too.
A binary release should be available for MacOS-X in the following
days. Check the website of GNUMail.app for updates.
I would like to thank the following people who helped me
getting this release done by sending me patches, suggestions,
bug reports and more: Andrew Ruder, Martin Brecher, Erik Dalen,
Francis Lachapelle, Frederico S. Munoz, Stephane Peron,
Vincent Ricard and Nicolas Roard.
Again, patches, suggestions, feature requests are all welcomed.
Thanks a lot for everything,
Ludovic
