So with "Cocoa Programming for Mac OS X" finally on the market.
What are the recommendations from the list? How does it compare to
Learning Cocoa? Is it a worthy buy? Can someone give a more comprehensive
review? Thanks

Buy it! Yes, I am half way though mine and it's already been worth the price. I've been studying Cocoa on and off for about a year and have the O'reilly book and have road most of the Apple docs. The Aaron Hillegass book is invaluable for someone learning Cocoa.

AND you get to learn:

What *shampoo* and object archiving have in common.
What *Knight Rider's Kitt* and object oriented design have in common.
And other nuggets like that.

Aaron if you are out there, great book. And congratulations on your first child, which you mention in the Acks. Now you can forget about ever again getting "10 hours of sleep while learning new concepts" ;-)
