So I'm asking --- am I the only person who misses the color black?

While I don't find OSX font anti-aliasing annoying (I actually quite like it) alot of other people do - I think it depends largely on screen type/quality. I've heard laptop screens look especially bad.

Tinkertool has an option to turn the antialiasing off or set the size threshold <http://www.bresink.de/osx/TinkerTool2.html>.

Photoshop has an option for Crisp, Soft or Strong smoothing in its text tool. Perhaps something like this would be a good option for OSX?
