Granted. But....
My wife has her own account. Most of the time she doesn't use it. If she
wants to check her mail she hops on while I'm in the can. If she wants
to surf for a while she simply brings up the currently running session
of Omni Web and off she goes.
The ability to modify the user work space is more important when the
user is sitting down to use the computer for an extended period of time.
If a secondary user is hopping in for a quick something, while the
primary is off grabbing a sandwich or fielding a call from the computer
room, why even bother firing up a new user session? It would consume
valuable user time. (Unless, of course, the desired program is only in
the the new user's space, but who does that????)
OK sure. an interesting do-dad. Would NOT having it create XP envy?
Would MS users point and gigle? I hardly think so. But what do I know?
I'm one of those that bought X when it couldn't write to CD's and I
still don't have print drivers.
