Reminds me of bowling. I always thought that, instead of 4 people
per alley, it should be more like 3 alleys per person. Similarly,
rather than having several people "simultaneously" logged into a
contemporary system, it'd be better to have multiple large screens,
key-boards and CPUs on a single integrated system to be used by
each person. I've gotten into the habit of stepping through a
program on one Mac and making updates on a copy of the same project
on another as I spot need for adjustments. Now, if I could apply
those changes back across with a single key-stroke, or at least
bring up a comparison view and have the option to apply specific
changes or not... and windows for news, stock graphs, one playing
a movie and another into which to enter notes about it or a script
I'm working on, several open for usenet, my data & quote file archives...
so that when I stop at a traffic light I could just switch them
in to the heads-up and make a few adjustments...
