Are you trying to verify a user's authorization?
Are you trying to run a tool as root?
If you are trying to run a tool as root, see the
tutorial on
authorizing users and doing so on stepwise.com and
the sample code
included there.
The Security framework is a big framework with lots
of different
parts, and as such there is no way anyone here can
give the "right"
answer to your question.
