Yes. your question is too vague to answer for the most part.

What are you trying to do?
Are you trying to access or create keychain items?
Are you trying to verify a user's authorization?
Are you trying to run a tool as root?

If you are trying to run a tool as root, see the tutorial on authorizing users and doing so on stepwise.com and the sample code included there.

The Security framework is a big framework with lots of different parts, and as such there is no way anyone here can give the "right" answer to your question.
