We will be announcing winners next week during MacWorld. Submission deadline is Saturday, July 14th at 4:56pm EST*.

To submit an entry:

- send email to email@hidden with a description of your entry and pointer to Softrak record. Softrak submissions can be made via:

http://softrak.stepwise.com/Softrak

- make sure the subject line contains the word "ENTRY"

User Choice Awards

As voting/polling on the Internet sucks, this will be done a bit differently. We are going to collect opinions from the community, read through 'em and make the "Public Choice" choice based on the submitted opinions.

Scientific? No.

Subject to horrible skew based on the state of minds of the judges? Yes.

Submit your opinion as to which screensaver should be crowned the best to <email@hidden>. Anything from a simple enumerated list of your favorites through to heart felt pleas to choose certain savers will be accepted.

Don't bother mailbombing for a particular saver; it will be ignored.

To affect the outcome of the contest, your opinion must be received before 11:11PM EST on July 16.

All screensavers fouond in this list....

... are eligible. If you find a screensaver somewhere else and want to render an opinion, feel free. Just make sure that the author also sends email to <email@hidden> letting us know about his/her saver!

* Why 11:11 and 4:56? So the digital clocks in advertisements can serve a useful purpose as a deadline reminder....
