I'm getting this from the simple RTF editor example in Learning Cocoa ch. 12. For which I wrote less than 20 lines of code (it's a sample to show you how little you have to write to get full multi-document RTF editor up and running, printing, saving, etc -- pretty impressive).

I've seen it both on open and close of windows/documents, and again it doesn't happen every time.

This happens on both OS X 10.0.3 and 10.0.4.

does anyone have any idea what this means? i can't reproduce it, but it happens every once and while in my app, form what I can tell, when closing a window. in this instance, I did a performClose: and then the window made the little control blink, and the close button went away, but the window didn't close.

any ideas? thanks.
