Warnings on calls to methods during compilation

Does anyone know what preprocessor commands allow one to put up a warning during compile if a certain method is present in one of the source files? For instance, every now and then someone will post to this list with a warning they got from an out-dated Apple method/function that they are using. How can I incorporate this into my files?
