Just about the best introduction to Obj-C and Cocoa is the old
"Discovering OPENSTEP" tutorial. I still use my heavily dog-eared copy
that I received at the '97 WWDC. The concepts are directly useful in
Cocoa, despite the Windows OpenStep screen shots. It can be downloaded
from the legacy documentation section at Apple's Mac OS X developer site:
