Everyone,
We are trying to keep our usage guidelines simple to give our users
flexibility. Encouraged by recent postings, I feel that now is a good
time for a friendly reminder.
The Cocoa Development list is for discussions regarding the frameworks,
features, and technical issues specific to Cocoa application
development. While recognizing the importance of community and shared
opinions, there are some guidelines that I expect we adhere to.
1. If an administrator asks you to stop doing something, stop doing it.
If you disagree with the request, contact me directly at
email@hidden
2. Refrain from posting opinions of employees here at Apple. It is
possible, and just as effective, to express your frustrations/opinions
without using names.
3. Try to stay on topic.
4. Edit included messages in replies to minimize the amount of text. The
more you surround your words with included text in a message, the less
likely people will find and read your posting.
5. We explicitly deny permission for you to use any user information for
any purpose other than discussions involving the mailing lists.
For more detailed guidelines, please refer to

Sincerely,
Heather
