Take a look at the DotView example which comes with the developer package. It shows very simple event handling & drawing in the DotView.m class, a subclass of NSView.

Hi, I'm new to cocoa (but not programming). Can anyone point to an example of a code of how to implement a simple canvas? (like awt canvas) or anything to draw basic shapes. I want to draw some functions and something like that would be extreamly helpfull.
Thanks in advance.
