GDB question

Greetings,

Anybody have Apple's GDB 5.0 running on Linux, specifically for Intel?

As a former NeXTSTEP/OpenStep developer, I am presently doing Objective-C development on Linux. I'd like to try the Objective-C capabilities of Apple's GDB to see how well they work and how they compare to the capabilities of gdb of yesteryear, i.e. OpenStep 4.2.

I've made some small efforts to configure and build, but have run into complications with defined symbols and the like. If someone has successfully ported it to Intel Linux, that would save me the effort of reinventing the wheel.

Thanks.

David
