Ryan, you're probably killing the Dockling Server. Killing the Dock will
usually right everything.

- open terminal.app
- run top (type 'top')
- look for the process ID of the Dock (the PID)
- quit top (type 'q')
- kill the Dock (type 'kill -9 <PID>')

It is possible that your dockling is killing the Dockling Server
immediately with your Dockling.
